New Super Nova discovered

Looks like a star on the edge of M82 has exploded and gone Super Nova!

It can be seen with Binoculars, or any backyard telescope! It is expected to grow much brighter in the next couple of weeks.

As an amateur astronomer, this is exciting! I hope to set up the scope and check this out if the sky will stay clear.
