Anyone here heard of "Carson cars"

Post by 03Lightningrocks »

My daughter has a bunch of brand new, never opened hot wheel cars. She collects certain ones and usually ends up with far more than she can do anything with. She just texted me and said her and my SIL are driving all over Plano putting the cars where kids can find them. It is something she saw on FB. it is in honor of a kid that was killed.

Never heard of them, but I am not up on the newest trends.
I hope that doesn't make me a "nerd".

Me neither. I check my Facebook maybe every month or so, unless my daughter tells me something is on it I might want to see.

She just sent me a couple different texts. The first one is simply about a kid who found one while they were still there. The second one is a good example of how oblivious people are to what is going on around them.

Googled it! Matchbox cars are being "scattered" world wide to honor Carson Dean Cheney. a four year old who was killed by a falling tombstone in Utah. He was holding a blue matchbook car when the accident occurred.

Actually I have seen them, but did know their name. Usually the ones that I see can't be posted on this forum.

No Google-fu required. What I was referring to was the texts.
I have seen them posted on Facebook, but didn't know about Carson Cars.
I generally don't click on links on Facebook.
That is probably why I am missing out on what is happening in the world.
