Correct. I want the Commander length slide with the officer length grip. Most commonly known as the cco but some companies call it a compact or similar name. Not many companies make an affordable cco in a 1911. STI has the guardian but it is only a 3.96 inch length barrel and not a true commander length. After handling a cco I think it is the perfect 1911 for a ccw. Barrell length is still not a problem concealing and the grip is smaller so that it doesn't stick out as much.

This design has a lot going for it. I like a 3" barrel with the shortened frame, and a 4 or 5 inch barrel with the full size frame because of the way they balance, although, arguably, the short frame with a commander length barrel has a similar balance to the full size frame with a 5 inch barrel..

Another 150 rounds through the CMD today with some Nasty PPU ammunition which hadn't worked well in my other .45. This stuff like everything else I have put through the Ruger 1911 ran flawless. I am approaching 500 rounds and no failures of any kind. I love this gun.

Looks like you've got a winner.

I have that Identical holster for my 4.2" Barrel Sig 1911 RCS Two Tone. Best holster I have ever had!

I've worn it for about 2 weeks now and have decided not to use my KingTuk(TM)
