Cheap CAN Be Good
I just added cheap, ugly, rubber, Colt grips to my carry Commander and found I can actually shoot it better, and it doesn't sand off my pudge roll when I carry it without an undershirt. Good day, OR WHAT?? :)

I wear Hogue rubber grips on one of my 1911's. The nice grips so back on the gun if I ever decide to sell it.

I have the same cheap grips on my Taurus 1911, love them.

I put Hogue rubber grips on my hi-power. They aren't pretty but they work great.

Hogue Grips on my Ruger SP 101 - the stock grips are far too small and the Hogue just right!
