I guess I have become a stick in the mud, but I fail to see the humor in vandalism.

A one bedroom condominium in San Fransisco proper sells for $950,000. At the height of the residential real estate downturn in 2008 they may have gotten down to $700,000. These are not new condominiums these are 100 year old 600 sf apartments.

It must really make them upset to see environmentally sensitive cars like this vandalized, by most probably the teenagers of people, who they provide rent subsidies to, so that the city can be diversified.

Some times it hurts to be a liberal.

I was sitting at a stop light yesterday next to one of those things. I turned to my wife and said you know... I could probably tip that thing over by myself.

She turned and gave the evil stare and said you really are strange...

I replied you just now figuring that out???

And the car can't get up, shake itself off, and chase you to/over the nearest fence with intent to hurt you for tipping it over...

Absolutely no challenge at all.
Equality, rightly understood as our founding fathers understood it, leads to liberty and to the emancipation of creative differences; wrongly understood, as it has been so tragically in our time, it leads first to conformity and then to despotism. Barry Goldwater

The owner could chase you though if he saw you. Might be as much fun

Pulled up next to one on my bike the other day. Bike was bigger and probably weighed more too. Thought my exhaust was going to blow it off the road.

A few years ago we had a GEO Metro for a short time and I refused to drive it after literally getting blown off the highway by an 18 wheeler!

Judging by what I see around the metroplex, smart cars seem to always be driven by stupid people.

It's like they think they're on a go-cart track instead of a public road filled with other vehicles that can smash them like a bug.
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams

I am with you. I really don't see the humor in it. However I feel sorry for people stuck in cities like San Fran. I would not want to live within 300 miles of it.

Doing Donets on the gym floor of the basketball court and leaving the teachers VW in the middle kind of irks the teaching staff.
