Actually the organizers did a great job of keeping the kids busy and the kids themselves were great. To my knowledge we didn't have any issues which required the assistance of the multiple officers on site. About the only thing us "safety team" members had to deal with was the occasional lip locking that is inevitable when dealing with teens. The Annoyed Man wrote:How many did you kill before the night was done, and how many times over did you kill them?
At least until you get a percentage of the sales.jmra wrote:Actually the organizers did a great job of keeping the kids busy and the kids themselves were great. I do wish they would forgo the sell of Monster energy drinks at the concession stands.
At least they stamp an X on the back of their hand to limit how many they can buy during the event. Otherwise they would all turn into Spidey and start climbing the walls.WildBill wrote:At least until you get a percentage of the sales.jmra wrote:Actually the organizers did a great job of keeping the kids busy and the kids themselves were great. I am really surprised [maybe I shouldn't be] that they sell "energy drinks" at these activities. I guess if they are legal ...
We got home around 8am. Both of the kids are still asleep.mamabearCali wrote:I couldn't do that when I was their age........was always the sleepy one.
It's an annual event we do for the youth in the area. Lots of fun and games mixed in with times of worship and preaching.Abraham wrote:What was the occasion?
I used to do concert security and we had more kids sneaking off to fool around during christian music shows then any other type od event. I gather that many of their parents only allowed them out during school and church events so the kids had to take advantage of any opportunity if they were ever going to get any.Less drugs and no violence tho.jmra wrote:Actually the organizers did a great job of keeping the kids busy and the kids themselves were great.
