I don't know if this has been posted before, but I'm sure like me many on this forum have friends and loved ones here.
Vietnam Wall
First click on a state. When it opens, scroll down to the city and the names will appear. Then click on their names. It should show you a picture of the person, or at least their bio and medals.
This really is an amazing web site. Someone spent a lot of time and effort to create it. I hope that everyone who receives this appreciates what those who served in Vietnam sacrificed for our country.
The link below is a virtual wall of all those lost during the Vietnam war with the names, bio's and other information on our lost heroes. Those who remember that time frame, or perhaps lost friends or family can look them up on this site.
Pass the link on to others, as many knew wonderful people whose names are listed.

Re: Virtual Vietnam Wall
Puma Guy - Thanks for the reminder. I have been to the virtual wall and looked up some people that I knew who were killed in the war.
It is sad to see so many men who had their lives cut short.
I have noticed some improvements on the website. More searches and information are available.

Re: Virtual Vietnam Wall
Yes it is. I learned from the Virtual Wall that a classmate who went MIA in 1969 under mysterious circumstances had his status changed to Died While Missing in 1978. A sister of one of the crew members of the Huey flown by my friend recognized her brother in a Vietnamese propaganda pamphlet. He too was never accounted for.WildBill wrote:Puma Guy - Thanks for the reminder. I have been to the virtual wall and looked up some people that I knew who were killed in the war.

Re: Virtual Vietnam Wall
I graduated from high school in 1968 and got the draft number 13. Got out of college in 1972, off to Marine OCS in Quantico and then flight school in Pensacola. I received my wings in 1974 and the war was "officially" over. I never went but it had such a profound impact on my life. I feel like I need to read every bio on every person on that virtual wall. I never knew anybody that was killed in Vietnam but I had 12 friends killed in flying training accidents. They were all young men (and some women) that had a full life ahead of them. There are 58,000+ stories there. May they all RIP.
