I'm guessing that The Heights is a better place to practice crime given the probable lower percentage of residents not carrying or even owning a gun gun, and a higher percentage of the local businesses being 30.06 posted.

It appeared the newsmedia was pushing buttons with this story. It's not very Heights at 610 and Yale. Beaten also doesn't really describe being struck once with a gun. I'm of course doing the same thing with my title.
I'm afraid I would have been much more cowardly than this victim. Distance is you friend. He stays right in the face of the man that hit him. A lot of BG's to me would have shot him in a second.
