It's a great video. I would also like to remind folks here that "peacetime" veterans are no different than "wartime veterans" -- we were ready to do our job in a moment's notice as well, but were never called (but always trained). Both my kids were "peacetime veterans" when they went in, but became "wartime veterans" due to the (un)fortunate timing of some insane murderers. In my case, my missions were, well, "operational" even during peacetime, and I flew as part of a combat crew (and encountered "pucker factor" situations far more than once). Still, I will never be invited to join the VFW because I was technically "peacetime only."
