A federal judge has just ruled that the current DC gun control law requiring registration of handguns and long guns and banning "assault" weapons and high capacity magazines is constitutional....
I'm not sure how he interprets "shall not be infringed", but it is obviously different than my interpretation. Isn't it ironic how the places with the most gun violence are those that are most restrictive on 2nd Amendment rights???

It's DC. The best response is to simply cut off their water and food supply and starve 'em out. Then burn the city down and relocate the entire population........to anywhere except Texas.

That is not at all ironic, and I would suggest that to think so may betray a misunderstanding of the national debate, and such a misunderstanding does not further the cause of those in support of a different understanding of the 2nd Amendment that that of this judge.
