A store clerk in NE Houston who resisted a robbery with his gun, died at the scene in a shootout with 3 to 4 armed men.

Blood may have been found in an abandoned pick up truck found nearby.

3-4 on 1 is not good odds. He should have folded. Never worked a gas station or quick stop type store and if I have any say in it my kids never will either. Just too dangerous.

Sometimes it's danged if you do, danged if you don't. There's not enough info to know what happened for sure but I'd rather not engage in a gun fight with those kind of odds unless I had absolutely no choice. RIP to the clerk.

The only way to protect against an attack like that is to have the door locked and them buzzed in. If they are wearing a hoodie don't buzz them in. Sadly most 24 hour gas stations don't operate like that.

Even if you know they are coming it would be hard to defend against 3 scum buckets attacking at once, shotgun or any other weapon.
