For my wife and I - Me finding a job

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

For my wife and I - Me finding a job

Post by nitrogen »

I feel like a heel, asking for prayers for this, when there's so much more suffering and sorrow out there, but my wife's doing it through her group of friends, so I figured I would too.

I lost my job in May. Seeing as I just bought a house, my savings were already pretty low, and they will run out around July.

I'd appreciate it if you'd put in a word or two for me and my wife.

I'm sorry to hear about that. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

What line of work do you do? Maybe someone here can help.

Prayers up! You will find work and everything will be as it should.

Don't ever hesitate to ask for prayer for all of your needs. The Lord wants us to bring everything to him, not just health needs or what we consider "major" things.

When we ask others to join us in prayer, it is not only the one in need who is blessed. Blessings flow also to those of us who pray, for in so doing, we put into practice our faith in the Lord and the promises of the Scriptures.

Martha and I will also pray for you and your family.

Prayers sent for you & wife.
(I don't think job loss is a small matter, as so much hinges on it.) We'll keep you prayed up; keep us posted.

I agree with the others. No need to hesitate to ask friends to pray for anything.

Prayer sent! Good luck finding a new job that is the right fit for you.
