It's a shame this had to happen. If only they'd put up a sign to prohibit guns, this never would have occurred. </sarcasm off>
Your best option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
When those fail, aim for center mass.

So instead of "going postal", should that be called "going brown"?

This is another disgruntled former employee going on a shooting spree. Was at the UPS sorting facility in Birmingham. Guy was fired yesterday and returned with a gun and shot two supervisors before committing suicide

With no disrespect to LEOs there or anywhere else - this statement kind of irks me.

"I commend the quick and efficient response of Birmingham Chief A.C. Roper and his staff at the Birmingham Police Department. Today's incident is a reminder of the importance of law enforcement training to respond to active shooters."

They arrived after the shooter killed himself. They stopped nothing in this case, and I'm curious as to how many of these suicidal murderers kill themselves at these events vs ones that are stopped by law enforcement.
