Depends on the person. You want to have that smart alec or clueless coworker bring up the subject of you carrying at the most inopportune moments go ahead and let your coworkers know you carry. I made that mistake when I got my CHL....won't make it again. The bottom line is that it's information that in the hands of the wrong person can be used against you. Just try to disprove the claim from some anti gun nut relative, acquaintance, or coworker, that you threatened them with a gun, or that you waived it at them as you drove by in your car. Or, as is popular with the anti gun wackos these days, calls in a man with a gun report in order to get you SWATed. It will be he said she said with the only piece of evidence likely being the gun in your possession.ghostrider wrote:That information is between me & the DPS (and the very few forum members that have met me)Maybe getting off topic, but do y'all really care that people know that you carry? It doesn't bother me in the least.

In as much as I would like to post a sign stating that her house has no guns, I feel like at that point I would have been brought down to their level of intelligence and that is something I don't care to do. Momma always told me that if you can't say something good about someone, then say nothing at all. Besides that, if I posted the sign and something actually happened, I would feel bad about it, for about 10 seconds.
