I'd love to buy a new 3rd Generation Colt Single Action Army .357 with blued CCH finish..... for a reasonable price. Not to carry necessarily, but just to have one.
Already have plenty of compact semi-As & wheelguns for CC.

Re: What firearm do you want to get next?
A while back, I purchased an XDm in .45 as my "game" gun. With my tired eyes and the fiber front sight, I'm very accurate with it when compared to other pistols I have.
I'm thinking I want to sell it to get the same thing in 9mm for ammo savings.
Then I want to get the XDm with the 3.8" barrel as a carry gun.
Anyway, that's the wish list.

I just purchased a SP101, model 5771, in .357 magnum with 4.2" barrel. My next purchase will be M&P bodyguard 380 for every day carry.. It's small I like the form fit for my big hands. We mostly buy guns based on looks first and I just like the look with laser. It has shown to be as reliable as comparable guns. I'm thinking ahead for spring/summer.

I've been wanting a gas-piston .308 rifle, and I'm thinking of adding a gas-piston kit to an SBR I will be building soon.
I never thought I'd say it, but I'm kind of good to go on pistols and don't have a strong desire for anything I don't already have. There are a few "maybe someday"s but nothing I have to have so badly that I'd run right out and buy one right now, even if I had the money.

Let's see... Ruger 1911 LW Commander, or a CMP M1, or a Sharps in 45-70... Too many wishes.

Since I posted the above, just 4 days ago, I actually obtained a gas-pistol .308 rifle (FN SCAR), and it has done two things: 1) it has affirmed my desire to build a gas-piston SBR, and 2) it has made me realize that I want another SCAR but in 5.56.The Annoyed Man wrote:I've been wanting a gas-piston .308 rifle, and I'm thinking of adding a gas-piston kit to an SBR I will be building soon.

I can't afford another one, LOL, but I want one. OR..... howabout combining (1) and (2) and building a SCAR SBR? The possibilities are endless....

Re: What firearm do you want to get next?
I saw a KSG for sale for $795.00 just yesterday: http://swfa.com/Kel-Tec-KSG-12-Gauge-Bu ... 65770.aspx. I was surprised because for a long time they were going for nearly double that in some stores. Those are interesting guns, but I'm a little too much of a traditionalist for them to appeal to me.VMI77 wrote:Picked up a KSG on a whim...love it. Now I want a PS90.

Re: What firearm do you want to get next?
I viewed them with skepticism for some time then recently came across a hickok45 review on youtube and decided I'd get it if I came across one. It's going to be my home defense and traveling shotgun as it's only 26" long and very easy to maneuver in close quarters. I just got it last week. This weekend I put about 50 rounds of slugs and buckshot through it and my shoulder is still a little bruised. Not a factor for self-defense, but I may put a limb saver on it when I'm shooting for fun.The Annoyed Man wrote:I saw a KSG for sale for $795.00 just yesterday: http://swfa.com/Kel-Tec-KSG-12-Gauge-Bu ... 65770.aspx. Uh-oh... someone has the FN Disease.
It holds 15 rounds of 2 3/4 (one in the chamber, 7 in each tube). I don't think I'm going to shoot 3" shells in it given the kick with 2 3/4 inch slugs. It will also hold 25 rounds of the Aquila short shells but I haven't tried any of those yet. I'm planning to stay with Federal flite-control buckshot (or the Hornady equivalent) and slugs. At 20', the hole from the flite-control buck or a slug is about the same size.

I don't see the money in the near future, but I would like to have a DPMS G2 Recon in 308.
