Questions about an address change and more.

So I totally forgot I had started my Tx CHL online application and received my email checklist 4/30/2014. That's within a year of honorable discharge and Tx as my home of record and birth all basically at the same address. While serving I got a CHL in The state where I was stationed (state has reciprocity), I looked at it today and realized it expires in a year. So I went online to check out my Texas application . Status said waiting on supporting documents or something similar. So I went online and uploaded my DD-214, scheduled my fingerprints for Friday, the class for Saturday and plan to mail in documents with my checklist on Monday.

My question is... Since applying online last year on 4/30 I've moved to another address. How do I go about changing my address on the application. The woman I spoke to said include a written request to change it included with my paperwork.

Is there another way? Does written form mean a letter saying " I request that you change the address on my application to reflect my current address at xxxx xxx" or is there another form I need?

Thanks for the helpful posts, and thanks for the kind welcome to the forum.
The lady I spoke with on the telephone told me I could change it by going to the online submission section of the DPS website and selecting other under the drop down menu. Then she said that in that option fill out the comment portion informing them of my address change and they would update my online application.
Another couple questions if y'all don't mind. I submitted my DD-214 online and got an email saying docents received the next day. Now how does the fingerprinting work? Is that automatically submitted, or do I have paperwork I receive at the place I'm going to that I need to upload.
I've got paperwork for a Marine Corps expert pistol Qual within the past 5 years I plan to submit. Am I alright submitting these one at a time? And do I also need to upload a copy of my check list?

I was told the same thing...but please follow the link I provided as that is the proper way, from experience. Any docs should be submitted through the second link. That's about as much help as I can give from my knowledge. Good Luck!

csj, Thanks for a fast reply! I just went over there and uploaded the form you had linked. I just checked the box for active military for payment since my application is processing under the active duty/within one year out mark upon the submission of my application. Thanks for all your help.
