Application: February 13th
Fingerprints: February 17th
CHL Class: February 28th
Documents uploaded: February 28th
Confirmation E-mail: March 2nd
Status change: March 20th

No DD214 (Though, thank you for your service if you’re a veteran.)
No Snailmail
No record or other complicating factors.

Now just to wait for the plastic to get here.

First time checking in and posting. Here's my time line so far:

Feb 16: Application submitted
Feb 28: CHL Class
Feb 28: Fingerprints
Mar 1: Documents submitted (including military ID/LES)
Mar 2: Received confirmation of supporting documents
Mar 19: Called DPS. Told I was approved and sent to printing
Mar 20: DPS site status update allowing address change

Just waiting on plastic! 18 days from the clock starting to status change isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Thanks for all the info everyone has been posting...it makes a big difference going through the process.

Im almost out of here! Got my status change today and just waiting on the card! My oldest daughter just got a texas id. Applied for it on the 6th of March and she got the id on the 18th. 9 days for that so we will see if they are consistent with that. Lol

UPDATE: Mar 21 - Got my plastic!

3 weeks exactly from submitting documents, so I'm very happy with DPS' turnaround.
