Feb 26- Applied online
Mar 04- Fingerprinted
Mar 21- CHL class completed
Mar 23- Submitted CHL-100 form by email
Mar 24- Received confirmation email

I took my grandfather, father, mother, younger brother and a co-worker with me, and several of us have submitted the paperwork on the same days so we shall see who gets their license first.

Not as bad as waiting while your wife is in labor but almost. Won't be long now.

Hello.......
Took my CHL class February 7th
Prints electronically submitted Feb. 13th
Paperwork submitted Feb. 13
Still waiting.............Today is March 31
Way back in the day (20 years ago) I was convicted of a felony. Got deferred adjudication, had my records sealed and had been a good boy ever since.
I am assuming this is why it is taking so long.
Any others with similar situations??

Aaaaahhhgh!

I got a letter from RDS yesterday informing me of a delay on my app due to an arrest back in 1989 that I didnt list. The reason why I didnt list it was mainly because I was 19 yrs old at the time, I was given 30 days probation for a misdemeanor battery (not family related) But my father told me that they were going to get it expunged and all these years it never showed up in any background checks so I didnt think anything of it, but yup, there it is...

Now since I'm living in Texas & this arresst occured in Illinois many years ago I'm no exchanging emails with the PD up there getting arrest info emailed to me as I type, in addition my mother who still lives in Illinois is going to head over to the county court house & see if she could get a copy of the disposition & email it to me, so I can send this off to RDS. I have 90 days to complete this or my app will get denied due to being incomplete.

I do not believe this to be a disquailifying factor & I'm confident that I'll get my CHL, just have to wait a bit longer..
