But the categories do serve an important purpose: they help us to understand the main idea of any given post. I don't know the full history of this forum, having only been a member here for the last few years, but I'm assuming that anytime a topic of discussion is used enough that it warrants its own category, a new one has been created. For instance, the "Crimes on Campus" forum was created just this past December - as it is an important current issue, given the legislative session this year.
So, back to my main idea...I'm starting to notice a pattern here (although it's not a new problem, the last link goes all the way back to 2008!?!):
