As we've seen in this thread (which is by no means scientific, but is somewhat representative), many of us have already gone for other options that aren't likely to be replaced anytime soon.
The 26 was still selling very well as was the 42. Although had the 43 come out earlier I wouldn't have had to endure the whole XDs fiasco.
Are you happy with your xds now or are you going to go to the 43?
What XDs?
No, I sold it shortly after the recall with full disclosure that it needed to be sent in for modification.

Ah, I didn't realize that. I guess that answers my question.

I really liked the feel of the XDs in my hand but did not like the trigger. When the recall came out I gave up on it. It was first time I strayed away from Glock as my EDC. Not a mistake I'm likely to repeat.

I just wonder how many G43 sales Glock lost by delaying its development this long while people who would have bought it settled for Shields, XDs', Kahrs, & LC9's......

....should make the bean-counters in Austria break out into Conan-level lamentations.
One of the most famous quotes, perhaps the most famous quote, from Conan is: "Conan! What is best in life?" "To crush your enemies -- See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
