Veterans*** Or others in the know...

Post by Dvldog2111 »

Has anyone sent in anything other than a DD-214?

I was a reservist who Deployed multiple times and so I have a number of DD214's. For the life of me, I cant find my final discharge. I used a service to get certified copies and sure enough my final dd214 was not included.

With that said, has anyone used any other documents to verify veteran status for chl?

TIA

I used my retired ID card, but I doubt that info does you any good.

You can request your final DD214, starting here: http://www.archives.gov/veterans/milita ... e-records/

I should only take a week or two. :tiphat:

I used the dd214 I received when transferring from active to reserves and had no problem :rules:
