10:15 in the parking lot in front of a Club. A car pulled up behind them as they got out of their car.

Sounds like a "jugging".

Even when the police are only seconds away...
HCSO said deputies who were working security at the club heard the shots and found the couple in the parking lot.

The comments to the article are proof that the policy of divisiveness that the current administration engages in (particularly racial divisiveness) is bearing lots of fruit. Its a pity that real outrage at criminal violence gets subverted by name calling and racial bickering.

Adding the description Robbers rather than Murderers gives the reader additional information.

However changing kill to murder is a better choice.

Many of links readers commented on why the race of the BG's was omitted. It has been pointed out to me that police reports will list clothing and height of BG's but not race.

Or not at all...

In all fairness, while The One may have made things worse, the MSM has been playing this tune and fooling no one for a long time.

That strikes me as a snide and sarcastic remark. I've been to plenty of clubs/bars in the last 30 years to listen to live music or be with customers or socialize with friends. I haven't personally had any alcohol in any of those occasions.

There are many reasons to frequent these establishments and removing the God-given right to self defense because someone has a disapproving and judgmental view of the occasional (or not) alcoholic beverage is frankly irritating and indefensible. Let's not forget that over 40 states allow concealed handgun licensees to carry in bars and the usual "blood in the streets" hysteria is simply unfounded.

I thoroughly agree that the media are complicit in furthering the agenda of the current administration, but I feel pretty certain they are fooling quite a number of folks. Those who aren't fooled typically have 1) some common sense, and 2) some guiding principles and/or moral convictions. Common sense is becoming less and less common since No Child Left Behind diluted national education standards to the lowest common denominator and now "common core" is making a mockery of education entirely. Emphasis on critical thinking skills has been sorely lacking in public education for decades. Guiding principles and moral convictions have been derided by "liberals" for generations, and we see the results as more and more liberties are taken away in the name of feel-good "tolerance", eco concerns and the like. Maybe the media only fools a few at a time, but over time and with the systematic dumbing-down of the population, the number of those being fooled by the MSM increases faster all the time.

Yeah, I sort of glided over a certain group of people....namely liberal/progressives...who are beyond facts and logic. So, you're right, fooling no one isn't true...I should have said fooling no one who is susceptible to logic, facts, and reason. Had a similar discussion recently with my youngest. We can't even begin to fix our problems because the MSM, the educational system, and the politicians, won't allow the causes to even be discussed much less recognized and accepted. And if you can't address the causes there is no hope of actually fixing the problems. I just mean that even before Obama many people were already aware of the media agenda where it has become glaringly obvious, such as in matters of race. Obama has deliberately increased racial disharmony and thereby put a spotlight on the agenda that even the more generous observers cannot miss.

My son is attending one of the country's top law schools. He looked forward to being among some of the most intelligent young people in the country but it hasn't turned out to be the environment he hoped for. A recent product of our undergraduate and graduate educational system, and experiencing it first hand, has made him very pessimistic. Most of the students he meets are truly intelligent, yet have been so thoroughly indoctrinated in liberal-prog nonsense that no critical thinking escapes the black hole of liberal doctrine. It's all liberal group-think and anyone daring to voice a critical thought is immediately disparaged and hounded into silence. He went with liberal sentiments and inclinations, but he's a thinker (100% home schooled until he entered college), and his liberal sentiments were shattered by the harsh reality of liberal behavior.
