Jim Nicholson, Texas State Rifle Association past president and NRA board member, passed away July 10th. His funeral took place the 14th in his native Florida.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Jim was one of the truly good guys.

I had no idea he was over 80.

Prayers and condolences for Jim's family. He was a great champion of our Second Amendment rights, and will be missed.

I remember reading Jim's posts on Usenet years ago.
