I'm just waiting for when it'll be legal for me to carry my grandfather's 6" S&W 27-2 in a proper rig in the state of my birth. Until then, Texas is still on my "naughty list."

OC passed? Nope. In fact, thanks to the House's vote yesterday not to concur with the Senate version of the bill, OC will now probably die and we get to wait ANOTHER 2 years. Way to go, Legislature! OC was all but a certainty at the beginning of the session, widely supported by the GOP majority, yet our esteemed representatives managed to fumble the ball despite having 5 months to get it passed. Apparently, our House of Representatives couldn't legislate their way out of an empty room. Politics makes me sick.
