Where do you check "status change"

When you log in, if the screen gives you the option of changing your address, it means your status has changed. I got my card in the mail 2 days after it changed.

How will I be notified if I did something incorrectly during the application process? Email, snail mail or on the website?

Yep that is the way I found out. It delayed me a month.

Here is my timeline.
25April-took class
29April-submitted application and documents (DD214,etc)
4May- fingerprints
28May (today)-change of information option showed up on website.

From what I see most people get their plastic within a day or two after the status changes on the website. Hopefully I'm that lucky. I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas.

Well, it seems I was even luckier than I thought, and DPS was a little slow in changing my status. I got plastic in the mailbox the day my status changed online!!!

Welcome to the forum. The clock doesn't start ticking until DPS receives all documentation so you're only a week and a half in. Shouldn't be that long of a wait. Things seem to move along faster these days than they did 6 or 7 years ago.

For what it is worth, from the time DPS received my application to the time I received plastic was one week.
