Re: Anyone Here Twitter?

As a telephone technician and engineer I used to spend a lot of time on the leading edge of technology, I knew what cell phones were before anyone else except a select few, in 1981, but I was also one of the last people I knew to get a cell phone of my own, in 2002. I also had "email" back when I installed the first nodes on NYSERNET, part of DARPANET, before Al Gore invented the internet, and had three computers networked in my home in 1986. I also had a GPS receiver in 1991, as part of a phone company project.
Lately though, I just sit back and watch it go by, I got my first cell phone of my own in 1999 and still don't use all of the gadgetry on it, I just want a phone. I have a PDA, but it's not connected to any networks. My wife bought herself a flat screen TV and we have a couple of DVD players. Even my guns are older technology, except for the lasers and dot sights.
I'm content, for the moment, to let everyone else twitter, I'll just blog along at my same old pace, like that old bull.
