I was thinking they'd make some good replacements for clay pigeons, but hey, your way works too.

In response to the first :confused5 comment, I believe the poster was connecting the kool aide reference to a common racist assumption about increased kool aide consumption among the Black population in the US.

I think most of us connect it far more easily to the way Rush uses it to refer to people "drinking the kool aide" when voting democrat.

I don't listen to talk radio but I hear the phrase used in business about someone who is an enthusiastic supporter of a new corporate policy or a project. Especially support that borders on blind faith. I also sometimes hear it used about microsoft fans.

I did a quick Google search on the phrase and found many uses to describe fanatic supporters of a company, philosophy, etc. I saw claims that it originated from the Jonestown incident where the followers drank poisoned punch. I didn't see any that mentioned race or skin color.

But if someone is looking for an excuse to be offended they will surely find one.
