I totally agree. They already have senior officers that can handle the job. Dallas County DA Craig Watkins, while he might not be universally loved, doesn't seem to take kindly to rogue cops who insist on doing whatever they want despite what the law says. His DNA/Innocence initiative tells me he's very interested in actual justice, not headlines about convictions.
