I've had hit/been hit by another vehicle, but I'd say I have a much better chance of that than I would of shooting myself by accident.

I strongly believe that unnecessary rules are one of the greatest hindrances to becoming a compliant shootist. People will make mistakes, and you will never be able to completely eliminate the danger. The best place to be is on the edge of your comfort zone or just outside it, if you're too far outside your comfort zone you will either not learn anything, or hurt someone, if you're well within your comfort zone, your not learning as well as you could be. Some people's comfort zone is firing a gun once, some people's is engaging multiple targets, some is a dynamic range, and sometimes the edge of your comfort zone is on a dynamic range with multiple shooters. Always push the envelope, just never to far or too fast.
