I carry a Kahr P9 (same size as your CW9) in an MTAC most of the time. Like you, I wanted a paddle holster for when IWB won't work. I found an inexpensive nylon holster at Academy that works surprisingly well. It's a Blackhawk #4 I believe. It's made for Glock 26 and other compact pistols. Since the G26 is a double-stack, I thought it would be too big, but it fits nicely. It's about $20. Give it a try. If you don't like it, trade it for something on the "Pay it Forward" thread. ;-)
:oops: Maybe I was tired. I dunno. You said "paddle holster" and I thought "pancake holster". I even typed "paddle" while I was thinking "pancake". I noticed it yesterday and thought I'd just let it go, but I didn't want the OP going to Academy and looking for a nylon paddle holster. Yeesh! I'll go back to work now. :leaving

Before you buy the MTAC with its plastic clips watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heKka_kn ... re=related" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Look at the crossbreed "super tuck deluxe" it has metal clips and is of much better quality.The metal clips are important because they will hold your rig more securely. Also, the crossbreed has either cowhide or horsehide available. Horsehide is more resistant to moisture which is better for humidity and sweat. I ordered the Crossbreed for three reasons:

1. Metal clips
2. Rough side of the leather is toward the body for better grip, smooth leather gets slippery.
3. Horsehide for moisture resistance.

Also check out Kholster.com for a similar holster also with metal clips but no horsehide and the smooth side is toward the body.

I have a Kholster and the smooth side faces out (against the weapon), just like both of my crossbreed holsters do.
