Got a chance to talk to my friend about this incident. Apparently Dell was having a large marketing promotion / announcement for their new tablets in the downstairs lobby of the building. So the guy dresses up in black with a skull ski mask on, gets a tablet in each hand, goes to the upstairs large room cube farm, and starts yelling "get to the lobby!" while waving these tablets. The people in the first few rows of the cube farm could likely tell it was a joke... but the people in the further out rows could not exactly see anything except a guy in black, wearing a mask, waving strange objects in his hands while yelling at everyone to get out to the lobby. Emergency response crews live for this kind of stuff... SWAT was called in, a Helicopter was on the way, etc. They cleared the building.
When questioned, apparently the guy was a resistant to answering anything. That just dug him in deeper.
Some very poor choices happened in this incident. I think the guy and his supervisor are in deep doo doo.
DELL "Incident?" today

Yeah, open computing can get people in trouble. Concealed computing is the way to go. ;)
