Apparently getting into fights over food is a growing issue

Maybe we need to ban sandwiches and hammers too.

Who had the signature quote about taking time to deliver a good beating to correct behavior?
FOUND IT!
"When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them." - G. C. Montgomery, Jr.

So the proper course of action is to do, ...what?
A drunken, unarmed stranger suddenly appears in one's house and states you must comply with his commands and the best course of action is to passively follow his instructions?
Do I have that right?
If so, I think that might be the best course of action if the criminal has immediate control of a weapon and one is caught completely off guard without immediate recourse to a weapon of his own, but otherwise...it would appear the LEO is asking people in general to be unresisting victims.
I've often heard the police say don't get involved. Call 911 and we'll handle it.
That's what most people would do and that's what most people want.
That's the way businesses want their employees to handle it.
In this litigious world, no one with authority will say that you should take control out of fear they will get blamed if it goes bad.
I don't agree with it.
I think most on this forum don't agree with it.
