Reminds me of the decision in Hollywood Park that decided to trap deer and ship them to Mexico. Had a few friends who approached and said they bowhunted, and would hep take care of the problwm. If hey would have agreed, I would be a bowhunter now.
A friend of my wife's actually went out one night and opened the trap.

I'm not sure about PETA specifically, but a lot of animal rights people are OK with hunting feral hogs as long as it is done humanely (they probably wouldn't like hunting them with dogs). I watched this one time, it was kinnda interesting. Just made me want to start a hog removal service (charge people to let me hunt)

I really don't understand the trap and relocate idea with hogs. Harassing them with dogs might push them to your neighbor (my neighbor deserves it
) but, a .223 or .308 is a much better solution wherever practical/safe, IMHO.
