Fixed that, yes I did.
Not sure what you fixed. "Solomon" is a correct spelling:
2 Samuel 5:13-20
13 And David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, after he came from Hebron, and more sons and daughters were born to David. 14 And these are the names of those who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, 15 Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia, 16 Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.

2 Samuel 12:24
Solomon's Birth

24 Then David comforted his wife, Bathsheba, and went in to her and lay with her, and she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon. And the Lord loved him
I could give you about thirty more examples. These were taken from the ESV version. The NASB uses the same spelling, as do the NIV and the King James.

Am I missing something?

It wasn't the spelling, I think it was the forum not recognizing the link itself in the original post, ended with a .cc instead of .com .biz .info etc... they corrected it.
http://www.solomonsporch.cc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I noticed that the guy fired into the air, rather than into the ground, so he must not be a Preacher or Deacon, because they should know about gravity - 1 Timothy 3:4 (joke)

It was the the link. Far be it from me to question the spiritual knowledge of anyone on this forum...or elsewhere. FWIW, I'm an Old Testament kind of guy who thinks Solomon, et al, were pretty cool.

Wasn't the tower of Babbel where Solomon kept his 1,000 wives? :mrgreen:

I had an error in the post originally and Oldgringo corrected it in his post. I fixed it in mine just about the time he corrected the error on his.

There's a lot of misinformation from the article. He didn't have a CHL, he was on duty working security, and the case was not simply strangers fighting. Since he'll have a case upcoming, I don't really want talk about it much on a public forum, but I personally expect charges to be dropped. At the least, I would use this as an example of not judging too quickly.

Thanks for the insight. We'll pray for the best...
