Gun fired in Richardson Church

Post by PappaGun »

The article does not specify whether the guy who fired the gun inside a church had a CHL.

But it sounds like he had a concealed handgun.

He could be in some pretty serious trouble.

It's probably not wise to fire warning shots inside a building.

This begins to answer the questions asked in regards to whether warning shots are a good idea.

I pray he does not have a CHL. If he does, he won't for long.

Sounds like he didn't take the time to learn PC §9.33 and is now going to pay the price. :rules:

Ugh. Never, ever, a good idea... Hopefully not a CHL holder.

*sigh* CHL does not stand for "Citizens Hero License"

Best to be a good witness and just call 911. Only pull gun to defend yourself against serious injury or death. This is the rule that I live by.

Church at 10:00 PM on Fiday night? That's after sundown Friday and a day and a half before Sunday. What kind of church is this anyway? :headscratch

My word, what's this world coming to? :totap:

Upon first reading, I thought it could be a synagogue... Shabbat (the Jewish sabbath) is sundown Friday to nightfall on Saturday evening and Friday night services are quite common. However, this is not the case... I Googled "Solomon's Porch" and it's a non-denominational, Christian church in Richardson.

A world where some people want God in their life more than one day a week? ;-)

The church name is in the article. It is called Solomon's Porch. I am gonna guess the guy had a CHL if they didn't also charge him with UCW.

Not unusual for churches to have activities for young people on a Friday night - to keep them out of doing undesireable things elsewhere. Sounds like this one did not work out very well.
