LOL "rlol"

I am neither bashing Glock Owners or Trolling....
I simply made a comment that I thought would be funny to some.....

Obviously not all members here can (or want to) understand it.

According to the OP link to the incident, Police responded to the shooting at 9:11pm on Monday.

According to the Texas CHL Forum Members Google Map, there are only two Members in San Angelo:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=204 ... 9,0.727158" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"shooter76blue" - last activity here today @ 3:13pm.
"snatchel" - last activity here today @ 7:38pm.
Anyone know these guys and want to check on them?

I hope the Nephew recovers and the CHL re-learns firearm handling procedures. :thumbs2:

Took a look at that map. Are there really only half a dozen members in Ellis Co? I haven't lived where it had me in over 3 years. Wouldn't rely on the accuracy of that map.

The article says the CHL holder was from Abilene visiting his nephew in San Angelo.

Really? Why?
Because the news report said the shooter was attempting to disassemble the gun.
Ariel Ceniceros was showing Elias a 9 mm handgun he had recently bought, and while attempting to disassemble the weapon, he accidentally shot his nephew in the left foot, according to police.
Glock is the only gun I know of that you have to pull the trigger first to remove the slide. Of course, anyone with an IQ above moron level would have checked for a chambered round first! That's why they shouldn't sell Glocks to stupid people. That's what 1911's are for...

S&W Sigma's (the Glock 19 clone or SWock as some call it) and Kahr's are the same way. You have to pull the trigger to release the slide.
And the Sigma is a very popular gun with newbies becasue it gets them the Glock look and feel (except for the trigger) for under $300.

Good catch! Ya gotta admit the article was not written very well.....

Now, we'll check the CHL Members Map for Abilene! :smilelol5:

Only 1 in Abilene: "westex1948" Last activity today at 8:26am.

Also I do not know how often the map is updated.

My Springfield XD-9 also needs the trigger pulled to disassemble...

However, I must admit when I read that the ND happened while attempting to disassemble, my first thought also went to Glock. Go figure... :biggrinjester:
