I would not have passed her either. I would have pulled up on the side of her.RPBrown wrote:Last week I saw a woman going hiway speed changing her shirt. Went from a tee shirt to a button up. I was on my bike and was not about to try and go around her.

Since moving to Texas in 1998 I have seen a guy playing a trumpet, a lady knitting, and a guy shaving his head with an electric razor, just to name a few of the weirder ones.

I saw a guy eating spaghetti on a plate one time on the freeway. I kid you not!Jim Beaux wrote:Ive seen clowns shaving with electric razors, putting on makeup, and reading a paper back while driving on Houston freeways. I have either just read or heard of a gal eating with chopsticks while driving. These people need a mega dose of reality.
Yesterday morning doing 70 in the HOV lane in the morning at dark 0530 I quickly came up on a tire tread rolling in the HV lane about 30 mph. No truck in the immediate vicinity but I could tell from the size thats where it came from. Probably a retread. The HOV lane is full of tire pieces. About once a month Sugarland will go clean it up and the next day there are tire pieces all over again. Frustrating.

The trucker slang on the CB for those tire pieces? "Gators".
I guess 'cuz a dead strip of tire on the road could look like a crouching alligator.
Of course there are places in Texas where it could be a real gator!

Last year I saw a guy on I10 headed into San Antonio every morning reading his newspaper. He would have the full page open across his steering wheel and just sit there like he was at his breakfast table. Stopped seeing him several months ago and I often wonder if that’s because he no long works/live in the area or if he finial killed himself because he could pick a better time to read the paper?
I drive 75 miles round trip every day and see all kinds of crazy on the roads.

I’m not picking on you, but on my scooter, the easiest way out is to give a small twist of your right hand. 2-3 seconds and you should be past the threat. If your scooter is the ones that like to ride in the back of pickup trucks like dogs, you will need to twist your hand all the way back and allow more time.RPBrown wrote:Valk wrote:I would not have passed her either. I’m not waiting around for someone in front of me to cause an accident.
