Meaning:
With all the effort in human history, the effects of all types of interaction between cultures has always been an exercise in triumphs and mistakes...Mostly from mistakes, to understanding and then co-existance...(in a perfect situation, but that is not alway the case)
To make a long analysis short, I'll simply say that "It is not about the color of one's skin, it is about how thin it is..."
If you use the color of your skin, as a crutch, to your failures/shortcomings, you hurt more than just yourself...
