damn you are one paranoid dude I keep thinking about one of those safes for the back of the suburban to keep a rifle in it, but they are expensive. The only draw back to carrying that bag into a store would be if their loss prevention thinks you are stealing and tries to make a stink about it.

5-11 has a pretty need bag that would probably work for a folding AK.

You need a sherpa!

Loss prevention would be pretty easy. Just tell them it's none of their business and keep walking. I'm walking into Target now. I'll let ya know how it goes.

I was re-reading posts and realized my first post was somewhat miss-leading. I don't plan on carrying the AK everyday. Mainly if I plan on heading to the ranch after work. Or if I just feel like it. I could see myself carrying a second pistol though. In the passenger seat the one in the pouch would be much more accessible.

My main goal is to be able to carry an AK (or an AR) on my motorcycle concealed or in my car. Mainly in the car I want to be able to move it from house to car or car to office without any attention. Furthermore if I'm traveling carrying it into a hotel without drawing attention would be nice.

I'm not opposed to carrying everyday but I like the option of being able to discreetly.

I had to deal with an aggressive LP years ago. He embarrassed me and wanted to look inside my fanny pack in the store. I didn't have to let him, but did open the fanny pack as any good citizen would do. His eyes got very big when he saw the gun I was carrying. I then showed my badge and id which were also in the pack and had a discussion over his stupidity

Sherpas are hired to carry the many things mountaineers take up mountains like Mount Everest.

In other words, you have so much gear you need a Sherpa, i.e. a helper, but if you were to cut back on your load logistics you'd not need one.

Frankly, if you added a rocket launcher, a flame thrower, and a tank, I'd say more power to you, but you'll still need a Sherpa or someone like a Sherpa with the logistics you're burdened with...
