Longtooth: Health need

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Its just a "shed" antler from a whitetail deer. I go "shed hunting" about February on my father in laws place where I hunt. Keeps me out of trouble.

It is a beautiful knife! Thank you for the observations, thoughts, and lessons....I often think in such a manner about some of the things I run across. I am glad you are feeling better! Get plenty of rest.

Good morning all. My 1st really rough night. Yall all grit your teeth & laugh a little. I have only had 2 pain pills since coming home Sat afternoon. The 2nd was early Sun. afternoon. I thought I needed a nap. It made me sick & finally wore off in the night last night.
Have had breakfast & antibiotic now & am doing really good. There will be nothing but Tylanol & grit your teeth a little. I am ready for a good day.
:woohoo ElGato saw me on line & just called. Man that was a good time w/ him too. I have lost count of the calls that each of you have made but I really have been blessed by them.
I have said before that I can't wait to get to shoot w/ him & Charles. Now I really can't wait. I have the best of both worlds now. Get to be outshot by the best & then have a bonified excuse for loosing.
Thank you all for your prayers & support. Yall have a great day & I will too.

Up date on progress.
No Pathology report yet. Still waiting. I am looking for a good one. ;-)
I am eating good & have good food from all the floks in our church. Tonight was a Roticery chicken, baked beans, potato salad & a coconut cream pie.
I have had 2 nights that were not real good. Right after getting home the pain meds they sent me home w/ made me sick. WE got home Sat afternoon at about 4:00. At early bed time I was not hurting but told Barbara I might need to take one to keep from hurting. WRONG Finally got that out of my system & all was good improvement again. I had really bad rash last night that has about gone away now so I should sleep well tonight. That was a reaction to the anti-biotic. Came on slow & aint leaving no faster.
Walking: I am good for a 1/2 mile of a morning in the cool & shade. Evening about a quarter. When it is real hot I stay inside. I will walk a circle around the dining table, down the hall, circle in the bedroom, back to the table, out the garage, to my loading room, then back to make the round again. I do that several times a day.
Surgery: all there is really great. No sign of infection at any incission point. The hospital said I was ahead of schedule on healing the cut. DR said all the repiping work went well & the outward evidence is that all is in really good condition.
Pain: None to speak of. I don't mind being uncomfortable I guess. There have been only a few times that a pain hit & I had to flinch some. That would go away after a few minutes.
Other exersize: I am squeezing 2 tennis balls. That is getting my hands back in shape. Before Micah left he cleared one of my 1911's for me & when my head is clear I have been locking the slide out. Doing load & also clear drills w/ no ammo. Dry fire at wall flowers. Lock out, drop mag, drop slide, reinsert mag. Do it again. Haven't seen any critters climbing up the walls yet so nothing to shoot & that is a good thing.
Am bending over to the floor several times a day. I can get to the floor w/ my hands but can only pick up a little something you might drop. My socks are the last thing I will need to master. I still can't get them on by myself.
Shower: have been able to take care of that since I got home & they thought that was a real good deal. Slow but get the job done.
Waiting on the path report. If I don't hear from them tomorrow I think it will be Tues. before they tell us anything. Having it in office & not calling you in is a good sign.
All I know. Supper was good. Will check in again after a while. :seeya:

Sounds great so far. I also expect a good path. report. You can't have this many people praying and not get a good response. Keep us posted and we'll keep prayin'
