Longtooth: Health need
Many people have already responded to LT's earlier post about his cancer. However, since this new section has been started, I want to get him on the prayer request list here as well.
Father hear our prayer for our brother in Christ.
Chas.

Charles, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to show our concern for our brethren.
I am reminded of these words from scripture: James 5:16...
"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much".
With that in mind, I have a brief petition of our Lord:
Heavenly Father, we give thee thanks for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us. Your tender mercies do not go unnoticed, Your patience and love for us is not taken for granted.
Father, we give praise to thee for the greatest gift of all, Your Son...Jesus Christ, who gave His life that we might live. Lord we are ever mindful of the suffering and sacrifice that was made.
Father, we come before you with a humble spirit, but prayerfully submit this petition. Lord, if it be Your will, may the health and well being of Your son's Jerry, Dave, Carlson.. be restored. Where a physicians care is needed, may you guide the doctors hands and give them wisdom to apply the proper technique and medicines.
We ask these things in the name of our Saviour...Jesus Christ, and according to Your will.
Amen.

Thank you Flint.
I often find strength in the passages of Psalm 91:1-7.
Pretty powerful stuff here...Remember these words Longtooth (I am sure you know them by heart).
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

In the other thread, I said I would say Refuah Sh'Lemah for you, so I wanted to write out.
רפואח שלמה (Complete Healing)
Heal us, O Lord, and we shall be healed; save us, and we will be saved, for the one we praise is You. Bring complete healing for all our sicknesses, May it be Your will, LORD my God, and the God of my forefathers, that You quickly send refuah sh’lemah (complete healing) from Heaven, spiritual and physical healing among the others, for O God, for You are our faithful and compassionate Healer and King. Blessed are you, Lord, the Healer of the sick of Israel.

Just "bumping" this to the front again. I will be visiting LT this Saturday and will be printing what has been posted on the forum so he can remain up to date.
Any Prayers, well wishes or other thoughts expressed here will be hand delivered. So, If there is anything else you would like to submit, please do so by mid morning Saturday.
LongTooth will not be near a computer for a few days after his surgery, so I'll just take your posts to him.
Thank you all... for supporting our brother Jerry, and I ask that everyone remember Carlson and Dave as well.
Flint.

I do not know what to say, I just know what I feel in my heart. You are all friends of great character. There have been so many passages that have really ministered to my spirit. When thank you is not enough I just ask our Lord to flood your hearts w/ appreciation.
Thank you all.
Thank you all.

By the time you read this, LT will have undergone his surgery. Hopefully, all has gone well and only the healing process is left to do. I will report back Saturday after my visit.
Meanwhile, any thoughts, prayers or comments can be posted here...and I will hand deliver them when I visit. Thank You all for your concern and friendship. I know Jerry appreciates it.
Last night I "knapped" out an obsidian knife blade and hafted it to a deer antler, I am going to present it to Jerry on behalf of all of the members here on the forum just to let him know we're thinking about him.
Let us not forget Dave and Carlson either, they are also in need of our prayers.

Thanks a lot. Please be sure to tell him that I am praying for him. If I can't get down that far in the next few days I will call him.flintknapper wrote:carlson1 wrote:Does anyone know what hospital Jerry is in? I would like to visit if possible.
