On this forum I'm known as terryg
and my EDC is an SR9c
when I am feeling the gloom
I head to the Arms Room
and partake in some Recoil Therapy

An "old friend" he really was not
when hunting with Veep he was shot.
The pellets were mostly retrieved,
and the Veep is greatly relieved,
but his memoirs will still have a blot.

One night while working at the convience store
A scary young dude walked through the door
In his waist band, he had a gun
"Said gimme your money quick or you're done"
But I was quicker and dropped him to the floor.

There once was a dame from Peru
Whose gun poems ended line two.

Not all rhymes have to do with a gun
They are all just about having fun
Could have fooled you.

A frugal young shooter was always trying to freeload
so he borrowed some components to reload
He was too cheap to buy a reloading book
so he filled a case with gunpowder, all it took
and when the hammer hit, it caused the round to explode

One night a fellow was out with his wife
when a suspicious fellow came at them wielding a knife
He had to draw his gun and then he shot him
When the police arrived they said, "Looks like you got 'em"
The shooting was justified, since he was in fear for his life and of his wife

Texas is a state with many great men
who are patriotic times ten
Some even value diversity
especially at UT University
and don't forget Texas A&M

My first Aggie poem. :woohoo

From the honkey tonks of old Houston
To the slums of San Antone
To the pool halls of old Austin
And where ever you may rome
They’re all marked 51%
So leave your guns at home.

There once was a man named Jim Hunt
Who performed the most amazing stunt.
He could with a shout
Turn his gun inside out
And the rear sight became the front.

There once was a man from Wheeling
Who fired his gun with great feeling
Then like a trout
He stuck his mouth out
And caught hot brass off the ceiling.

Who looks like a female Bela Lugosi
Hoards of voters came out to beat her
and kicked her out on her keester
What happens next, we shall see.

Hawaii Five-O was a favorite show of mine
Years ago, I watched it all of the time
McGarrett was the star of the show
but I liked his sidekick "Danno"
RIP James MacArthur, you did just fine.
