I hope you are correct. As far as "leaning left", they would have to lean so far over that they will fall. The real tragedy is that so much damage has been done that I do not know
if it can be fixed before an economic collapse. I am looking at the stock market today and it is in free fall.

When Oblah Blah was elected I was very excited as well. I did not vote for him but after he got in what I saw is a young guy, nice family and I wished them well.

What a disappointment!!

I hope it does not happen again but I really do not know.

Can you blame them really. They have just experienced at least 12, if they are in college 16 years, of indoctrination by the liberal school systems put in place. I was a conservative even in college, but it was hard and I was the exception not the rule. I knew the key to survival was to not let any teacher know that you disagree with them and to be parrot or you will not get the grade you want no matter how hard you work. For heavens sakes I had a professor that assigned up spanish text to read without any translations (heaven help you if you could not speak at least minimal spanish)--and this was in a history class without a spanish prerequisite.

Looking at the choices he has my vote. There is still a lot of time before 2012 elections hopefully anybody wins but
Oblah Blah. He is wrecking this country.

Bachman talks a lot of good sense to me. I like her but can she win?

The only Turner I know of is Ted Turner. If that is who the above Turner is then there is no chance for either.

I think if Perry runs then a really good ticket may be Perry/Bachman. I really think Perry will
carry Texas.

I like Perry/Bachman, I could live happily with Perry/Santorum or Perry/Cain. I really don't like Gingrich or Romney at all.

Someone should start a poll with all the current combinations (including Perry) and we'll see what the majority here like!

Okay, so I was displaying my age. The '70s pop-rock band from Canada was Bachman–Turner Overdrive...

I can't say where we'd be today had the McCain/Palin ticket won, but I don't want to look back in 2015 wondering where we'd have been had the Obama/Biden ticket not won a second time. I supported McCain, but I think I could be more enthusiastic about supporting Perry.

Regardless, the Republican party needs to do a better job of managing this campaign than it did in 2008.

The Republican running for Weiner's seat is named Bob Turner. Perhaps everything is falling into place. :confused5
