Guns or Ammo
You're planning on going to the upcoming gun show. You've budgeted $XXX.xx to take and spend. You have every gun you'd ever need, but wants are never satisfied. You have limited supplies of ammo for the guns you have.
Do you purchase that new gun you want depleteing your budget, or do you stock pile the ammo you know you should have on hand "just in case"?

I'm going to our local show this weekend and I plan on looking for parts for the new AR15 I was wanting to build. If I don't buy that I'm getting some reloading dies in 45 ACP and 38/357. And of course powder and lead. and I would like to find a lever action rifle in 45 long colt to round out my cowboy stuff.

I don't buy ammo at gun shows. However, I know about the choice because I am trying to make it now, with a twist. If I save the money I can eventually get a more expensive rifle I have needed, well wanted, for years. I really don't need it but do need ammo for a couple of guns I have. Logic tells me to buy the ammo and save for what I don't need. So, I will say to get the ammo. Though...I may not.

Uh, excuse me for my ignorance here, but what's with the summer sausage?Big Calhoun wrote:Ammo, ammo, more ammo, magazines, and some summer sausage.
I would have to vote for ammo / and or reloading equipment.

A guy I've run into a few times at the shows @ Market Hall has some tasty sausage, probably the best I've ever had. Great stuff when eaten with a lil jalepeno jack and crackers while I'm filling new magazines with ammo and storing the extra.ScubaSigGuy wrote:Uh, excuse me for my ignorance here, but what's with the summer sausage?Big Calhoun wrote:Ammo, ammo, more ammo, magazines, and some summer sausage.![]()
