Google bots browse everything, unless the robots.txt for the site tells it not to. That's how things get indexed and searchable.

There are multiple bots from various search engines around the world. Without them nobody would ever find this forum or most any websites by doing a simple search. You would have to know the exact URL of the website you wanted.

I too have seen them listed at the bottom. Did not know what or why but now I do and it makes since. I always wondered how google knew all that stuff.
