Friday is day 54

OK, so this Chinese water torture has been going on for 53 days now. The last contact I had with DPS a very polite young lady informed me that there were no problems but they were waiting to receive completed background checks. Since I am squeeky clean should I expect to see the status change on the 60th day? At this point in the process I am not expecting any action short of the 60 day time limit. I will post next Thursday and let all know if the status changed.

When was that last contact? It might be worth another polite call or email to see how itis going. Remind them that there is a 60 calendar day limitation in statute.

You're ahead of me in the timeline, but I can't bring myself to count the days... I would go nuts!
