DAPS IDPA at DFW
I have a friend that I was to get into the sport of IDPA. He shoots a M&P40 and only has 2mags. I was wondering if anyone that is going has a spare they would let him borrow just for that night so that he could have 3 to use. Thanks in advance.

WOOT!! They're not much further than Elm Fork was. I'll be there, I need to get some trigger time other than just standing there punching holes in stuff.
Here's the link to the range: http://www.dfwgun.com/

I shot the 1st two DAPS matches at DFWgun and they were a lot of fun. I missed the 3rd one but will definitely be there on 10/28. Looking forward to seeing you two.
Wildscar, I still have that Blade-tech 92 holster set aside for you. Do you still want it?

Come on everyone. Lets make this one all about CHL forum. We can even mess with them and all use our screen names in place of out real names. Really confuse them.HighVelocity wrote: Looking forward to seeing you two.

Id like to join you guys. My first IDPA match last weekend left me wanting more of the same. Do I need to be a member of DAPS to shoot in the match?Wildscar wrote:Come on everyone. You do not need to be a DAPS club member to shoot with them. Make sure you tell the Safety Officer that it's your 2nd match though.Fosforos wrote:Id like to join you guys. There wouldn't be any confusion if forum names were used, most of the folks in DAPS are on one forum or another already. http://www.dfwshooters.org for example. A lot of DAPS related threads over there.

Nope. In fact your first match fee is waived I believe. You still have to pay the range fee but the match fee is covered unless they changed that with the new range.Fosforos wrote: Do I need to be a member of DAPS to shoot in the match?

I found this on their FAQ page:Wildscar wrote:Nope. In fact your first match fee is waived I believe. You still have to pay the range fee but the match fee is covered unless they changed that with the new range.Fosforos wrote: Do I need to be a member of DAPS to shoot in the match?
How much does it cost to shoot a DAPS match?
There is always a $10 range fee that goes to Elm Fork for any match we put on, and must be paid in the office. You will receive a wrist band indicating you've paid the range. Please do this before signing up for a DAPS match.
IDPA match fees are $6 for non-members, $5 for members. If it's your first time to shoot IDPA with us, the match fee will be waived. USPSA match fees are $11 for non-members, $10 for members. Annual memberships are $20, and are open to anyone.

Looks like I will make it for sure. Moved my trip out of town to next week. I'll be the one with the lucky white Beretta hat on and probably be one of only two Beretta shooters there
HV - got some brass for ya!!.......I'll throw it in the range bag so I don't forget this time!
