I emailed in for a status since it has been over 60 days and here is the response I get:
Your application has gone to a technician for further review if they need any additional information they will contact you by mail.

Could be anything, fingerprints is usually a big one.
If you had any offenses at all on your record then it may be something about one of them that needs a clarification. The delay is that they probably had to wait for records and it did not match or agree with what you said, so they are trying to make a judgemental call on your application........this is the part that I hate......one person's opinion can mess you up.......
Why do you show 11/2 "license issued and active" in your signature?
If in fact you saw that Today (on 11/2) and then it changed to the Tech thing.......I would bet that someone accidentally typed in the wrong Application number to update someone to "sent to a technician" and it got on you online status incorrectly...as your license would have already been mailed out if it ever said "license issued and active".

Mine continued to show "Processing Application" for a good 4-5 days after they told me my plastic was in the mail.secure wrote:None of this was status related.
I received an email from CHL Status alias yesterday saying my license had been sent to a technician. Today I get an email saying that my license was mailed out today and that it is actice. My status online still shows processing application. Pretty cut and dry.
Congratulations!!
