Paper work error! D'OH
So I get home yesterday and check the mail hoping my PIN is in there. I see a letter from DPS and think to myself WOO HOO! Open it up and find out that they need a copy of my DD214. I could have swore that I sent one in with the original package. SO...This morning I call them and ask if I can fax a copy to them. The gentleman that I talked to said sure, Fax it and then call him back an hour later. So I fax'd it along with a copy of my Retired Military ID card and a letter stating which blocks in particular they should look at on the DD214. Called him back an hour later, he had the fax in hand and said it was good to go. Also told me that if I wanted my PIN to shoot him an e mail and he would send it back to me, since they can not give it out over the phone. My pin arrived via E mail a few minutes ago. WOO HOO! Looks like I am back on my way. HOPEFULLY, the application will be completed and Plastic on its way by the first of the year. I know...Wishful thinking.

I took about 17 days for me to receive my plastic after the status change.
