New to the forum and CHL

Post by StrykerDM »

Just thought I'd say howdy to everybody. I'll be taking my CHL class this coming Sunday, and I'm already excited. Its definetely something I've been wanting to do for a while, and I'm just glad I have the cash and the time to finally get my license. I've got a crossbreed supertuck that actually does a decent job of hiding my full size XD9 service that'll do the job until I can afford something a little smaller for conceal carry. I've been doing some research on small carry guns and have been looking at the Kahr PM9 and PM40, the XD9sub-compact and XD40sub-compact, those lightweight S&W j-frame revolvers, the Bersas and Kel-Techs, and that new Walther PPS. I figure I'm just going to get used to carrying first with my XD service, and with a little more research and experience I'll find me another carry gun thats good quality, reliable and hopefully smaller. In the meantime, I might get some meprolight tritium sights put on the XD. Anyway, I like the forum guys, and thanks in advance for having me.
